I live next to a bunch of bums

You know how I was moving before? Well it happens to be an apartment and right after we moved some neighbors moved in. I’m thinking “There’s no way they can be as bad as some people say” (I’ve never had a close neighbor) But oh god.

The wall is about 2 inches thick of plywood and some wall paint over it. There’s some guy named Jeff a girl and some other guy. I know his name is Jeff because the girl is constantly yelling “‘EY JEFF COMMERE” and he doesn’t come. If it was just this I wouldn’t mind so much. But they are getting on my last nerve.

They smoke pot. A lot. So much that is actually makes it smell like pot in our house. Not only do they smoke it they scream about how they LOVE THIS POT when they do. They also like rattling the door (sealed) connecting the two complexes.

I’m in 11th grade and usually walk home from school. It’s really weird because just a few minutes ago when I was coming in they were all on the front porch listening to scream-o on their Toshiba laptop. Oh did I mention they were sniffing spray paint? Yeah, right there next to the street. What the fuck I didn’t know people even still did that. It still smells like spray paint in here. I said “Hi” to one of them and he goes “Tch” as in “Don’t talk to me kid”. I don’t really know why as I haven’t done anything to piss them off.

There’s this room that we kind of share, our laundry room is in the back, but it is the only back door so they use it in “emergencies” (i.e. all the time). It also happens that the fuse box is in that room. Well for some reason they always need to reset their fuse so they go in there and hit the wrong fucking one. Every time. So our power goes out and I have to go back in there and turn it on. At one point they were wasted and were playing with the dryer.

We’ve gotten them busted on a few things, they were parking in the back across the street, which is a big no-no. So I guess they said it was us because WE were the ones that got all the papers about how it’s against city laws or whatever. Then of course they moved it. Our cable also seems to go out quite often and when we call to see why they turn off the wrong one.

I can’t think of anything to do about it. I don’t want to do anything to piss them off (they will know it was us), because they’re always baked or wasted and who knows what they will do. The cops in this town won’t do anything about the pot, they will probably ask for some (I’m not exaggerating).

I have been playing Mass Effect 2 a LOT lately, it’s one of if not the best games I’ve ever played. I love how everything that happens in the game depends on what you do.

I am moving Saturday, but that’s pretty much all that’s been going on.

Installing Windows again!

I just got an upgrade from 2x 1gb of RAM (2gb) to 2x 2gb of RAM (4gb). So I will be upgrading to 64 bit Windows 7 rather than x86 (32 bit) windows 7 RC v7100.

Everyone run a snowflake

As most people know I live in Georgia, and as most Georgians know we DON’T get snow. Ever. On the rare occasion that we do it’s just a flurry and nothing more. Well today it starting snowing pretty hard for the first time in like 15 years. It’s only like an inch maybe but people are freaking out and it’s pretty funny. We got out of school early because it was snowing. When I went to get some groceries there were people buying lots of milk and bread like some kind of 6 month long blizzard was coming. Did I mention people also lose all ability to drive in snowy weather?

School schedule this semester is a bit better. We have 5 periods, 3 of them being ‘blocks’ which are an hour and a half, and 2 of them being ‘skinnies’ which are only an hour but we have them all year. First block I got Computer Apps 2, which is just typing on Microsoft Word pretty much, 2nd period I have Chemistry (which sucks, btw), 3rd block I have Engineering 2, 4th period I have Algebra 2 (MATH FFF), and 5th block I have government.

If I die from snowflakes I will let you know

Where am I

I still haven’t slept as of now (it’s 1:12 PM).

Anyway, since the new website database is unlimited, I added a section where I will test new stuff that I am thinking about using. For example, right now http://www.gmodforums.com/secrettesting is a vBulletin board to play with. Yes that’s the one that was going to cost $900. No I didn’t pay for it but since I’m just messing with it and not USING it I guess it’s not too bad, right. I’m not paying almost $1,000 to fiddle with the settings.

I learned a lot about the htaccess.txt file today, too. Try hotlinking an image and it should end up being a totally different image when it shows up. This will stop people from sucking my unlimited bandwidth away.

I decided that game will probably be a zombie shooter, too.

Borderlands is SO BORING but I can’t stop playing it. Holiday break ends tomorrow, kind of depressed about that. And now maybe I will sleep.

So I didn’t actually sleep yet

It is about 6:30 AM while I am typing this, and I haven’t slept yet because I totally messed up my sleep schedule.

Anyway, what I’ve been doing all night pretty much consisted of watching silly Youtube videos and working on that game a little bit. Right now I’ve constructed a hit system inspired by Team Fortress 2′s hit system.

Right now it just says ‘HIT’ when you make contact, but later I might have it say how much damage you dealt. Every 2 seconds you have a 1 in 20 chance of getting a Critical hit, which does 5x more damage than a regular hit (it’s also green)
